Even though things may seem difficult at the moment and you may be worried about your business, it’s important to continue to market your business and remain active on social media. We have compiled some ways to do this so that you keep in touch with your customers and help maintain morale during these unprecedented circumstances.
Communicate with your customers
In this uncertain time, the thing people want the most is reassurance. They want to know that things will be okay, and we’ll all be back to normal soon.
The key is to keep talking to your customers, continuing with your normal routine. Post regularly about your business and add in tips, tricks and infographics to keep your content interesting.
Also, open the conversation to your followers and customers. To add a personal touch, share stories and ask them to share their own stories on the same topic, e.g. pets, holidays, family members etc. You can also ask questions and use polls to encourage engagement.
Be inspiring
In contrast with all the negativity all over the world today, give your customers and followers some positivity during their day. This will help give your business a positive face and people will remember this. You can do this by:
- Sharing inspirational quotes,
- Communicating your aspirations for the future
- Sharing good things to do at the moment (if your business is doing it, even better)
- Sharing ways to help people in need.
Also, ask your customers if they need anything. Give them offers on what you sell or even give away small things from your business for free. People will appreciate this and remember your business during harder times.
Talk about the future
Give your customers and potential customers hope and take their mind off the events that are unfolding at the moment. Talk about the exciting things happening within your business and what events and developments will be happening in the future in other places. This is key to keeping things going in your business.
Keeping everyone’s spirits up is so important at the moment. We all just need to work through this together. Keep in touch with your customers through social media and help them maintain a positive mindset.
