How to use topical days to boost your Social Media – March 2020

Here’s a list of potential dates for March 2020 to tweet, post and share this month. These are here to help you boost your social media content and engage with relevant events and your audience.

3rd March World Wildlife Day

On this day you can talk about how essential our wildlife is to our planet, maybe include a fact about the wildlife that may be a bit odd or not very well known. 5th March World Book Day

You can encourage and show how important reading is to your peers and children. You can also talk about the importance of donating so every child has a chance to read and for your children to read and to start a conversation as people to talk about their favourite book. 8th March International Women’s Day

This is a nice chance to talk about women in your life who are amazing or historical women who you think have done something amazing and get others to share amazing women in their life. 13th March World Sleep Day

20th March International Day of Happiness

22nd March Mothers Day

This is a good opportunity to show a personal side to your business share pictures of your mum or a quote for about mums, get people to share a memory/appreciation for their mum.

23rd March National Puppy Day

You can share cute pictures of puppies (because who doesn’t love puppies?), also you can get people to share pictures and some information about their dog in the comments, therefore more engagement. You can also bring awareness to puppy mills and also encourage to adopt a pet instead of buying one, using the hashtag, #adoptdontshop.

Remember to always try and use the hashtag for the day (usually the name of the day) as this will get more engagement, also always try and link it to your business in some way (if possible) and happy posting for March!
